Welcome to VoltCare. These terms govern your use of the VoltCare website at voltcare.app (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
VoltCare is a platform that connects homeowners with independent, licensed local service contractors. The contractors on the platform are independent businesses — they are not employees or agents of VoltCare, and they are responsible for the services they perform, their licensing, and their workmanship. Service coverage plans, when offered, will be governed by their own separate written agreements — not by these Site terms.
Signing up as a founding member or requesting contractor territory records your interest — it is not a purchase. No payment is collected, no charge occurs today, and signing up does not create a service contract. Founding pricing shown on the Site reflects our intended launch pricing and may change before launch. If you'd like your signup information removed, contact us and we'll delete it.
If you're given an account, keep your credentials to yourself and tell us right away about any unauthorized use. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put the platform or its users at risk.
Don't misuse the Site: no unlawful activity, no attempting to break, probe, or overload the Site or its security, no scraping or bulk-harvesting other people's information, no impersonating anyone, and no submitting information you know to be false.
Information you submit through forms (signups, messages, service requests) needs to be accurate to be useful — that's what dispatching and replies are based on. We store what you submit as you submitted it. For how we handle personal information, see our privacy policy.
The VoltCare name, logo, design, and Site content belong to VoltCare and may not be copied or used commercially without permission. You keep whatever rights you have in what you submit to us.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete or current. Pre-launch descriptions of features and pricing describe what we intend to build and offer, and may change.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoltCare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the platform grows; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
